BREAKING: Trump Reveals Two Key RINOS That Will NOT Be In His White House
President-elect Donald Trump confirmed Saturday that RINO officials from his first administration, Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo, would not return for his second term. The announcement reflects Trump’s commitment to building an “America First” team united with his vision and skeptical of establishment influences that he argues have undermined his administration’s progress.
Posting on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump expressed his appreciation for their service but clarified that they would not be joining his administration in January.
“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” he posted. “I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Haley, who served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, was vocal in her criticism of Trump during the 2024 Republican primaries, often claiming she was the only GOP candidate who could successfully counter the Democrats in the general election. She dropped out of the race in March when it became clear that GOP voters remained overwhelmingly loyal to Trump, but her criticisms may have contributed to Trump’s decision. Haley had argued that the GOP needed a “new leader who can actually win” and claimed Trump’s “polarizing” style would hurt the party—a position that placed her at odds with Trump’s base.
Just days before the election, Haley attempted to reconcile with Trump’s supporters, publishing an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal where she conceded that he was “clearly the better choice” over Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. However, Trump’s base and political allies were less than forgiving. “Trump’s loyal voters know who stands with them and who doesn’t,” one strategist close to the Trump campaign remarked. “When someone repeatedly tries to undermine the president’s message, it’s no surprise they’re not welcomed back with open arms.”
On X, formerly Twitter, Haley acknowledged the decision diplomatically. “I was proud to work with President Trump defending America at the United Nations,” she posted. “I wish him, and all who serve, great success in moving us forward to a stronger, safer America over the next four years.” Despite her polite remarks, sources suggest that Haley’s break from Trump on key issues may have cost her any chance of being involved in his administration.
Pompeo’s exclusion from the team also reflects Trump’s emphasis on loyalty. Though Pompeo served as both CIA Director and Secretary of State under Trump, he drew sharp criticism from Republicans for his lack of visible support during Trump’s recent political and legal challenges. Notably, Pompeo remained largely silent during Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents, a move some viewed as a betrayal.
Trump ally and political strategist Roger Stone openly cautioned Trump about Pompeo’s intentions. “If Pompeo is placed into the next Trump administration, his history shows he would promote the hegemony of the deep state rather than an authentic America First agenda,” Stone warned, labeling Pompeo’s silence on these investigations as “deep state complacency.” Trump’s supporters have been vocal about their mistrust of Washington insiders, and Pompeo’s failure to strongly back Trump in these critical moments may have been the final straw.
Pompeo, who had previously expressed interest in being part of a second Trump administration, did not publicly comment on Trump’s announcement. However, the former Secretary of State has been open about his commitment to what he describes as “traditional Republican values,” which prioritizes a globalist agenda rather than “America First” policies. Pompeo’s exclusion, therefore, serves as a stark warning to those in Trump’s orbit: loyalty to Trump’s vision is a key requirement.
Since his decisive victory over Kamala Harris, Trump’s team are now vetting appointees who align with his core principles. Loyalty, one senior Trump advisor explained, is “not just about allegiance to a person; it’s about alignment with an agenda that prioritizes the American people over the D.C. establishment.”
This loyalty-based approach has already led to some high-profile appointments, including Susie Wiles, Trump’s 2024 campaign co-chair, as the next White House Chief of Staff. Former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler and businessman Steve Witkoff joined Trump’s inaugural committee, illustrating a return to a pro-business, America-centered administration.
These early appointments underscore Trump’s commitment to reshaping the government in ways he felt were hindered in his first term. “The swamp is still very much alive in D.C., and President Trump’s focused on picking people who’ll actually fight it—not just pay lip service to America First,” an insider close to the transition team said.
Trump’s swift staffing decisions signal a renewed commitment to governing on behalf of the working-class Americans who powered his 2024 comeback. Haley and Pompeo’s absence from this roster further aligns Trump with the values and priorities that his supporters hold dear, namely the dismantling of entrenched Washington interests.
As Trump continues to staff his administration, the choice of new leaders will play a crucial role in achieving the goals he laid out on the campaign trail: strengthening the economy, controlling immigration, and prioritizing the interests of American citizens. “No one who thinks America is just another country will make it in this administration,” Trump’s advisor emphasized. “President Trump is putting America first, as he always promised, and his team will reflect that.”
